North-East Meet of Astronomers (NEMA-V) North-East Meet of Astronomers, initiated in 2015 by the Department of Physics, Tezpur University, and sponsored by IUCAA, is an annual meeting of astronomers in the North- Eastern part of India. These meetings aim to bring together young and highly motivated students, researchers, college and university teachers of the region, working or intending to take up research in the field of Astronomy and Astrophysics and related topics, on a single platform to stimulate discussions and No. 120 - October 2019 There were 22 PhD students from various Indian Institutes and Universities who attended the school and they spent all the afternoons and the last full two days on these allocated projects.
