Parallel events like Science Toys demonstrations, coordinated by Shivani Pethe and Rupesh Labade; Space Toys demonstrations, coordinated by Shivom Gupta; and demonstrations on Telescope Making, coordinated by Tushar Purohit were keeping the general publicmagnetized in the Science Park area throughout the day time. In the afternoon, there was a live interaction with Jayant Narlikar and Somak Raychaudhury, who eloquently answered several Astronomy related questions from the public. This was coordinated by Surhud More and Anupreeta More. It was a great pleasure to hear the wonderful questions regarding our Universe that were asked by young school kids. Along with the chock-full auditorium, many viewers enjoyed the live webcasting of the sessions online as well. Following this, therewere special talks on Women inAstronomy; Citizen Science: Scientific Discoveries at your Fingertips; It is Time to Woman-up for Science; Being a Part of a DreamProject: Aditya L1 Mission; PhD Ab Tak - Motivation, Challenges and Struggle; Journey with the Stars; Fascinated to the Most Energetic Window to the Universe; and My Journey in Astrophysics, were delivered by Anupreeta More, Manasadevi P. T., Avyarthana Ghosh, Ruchika Seth, Sonal Thorve, Vidushi Sharma, and Pranoti Panchbhai respectively. This sessionwas coordinated byManasadevi P. T. A public talk on the 2018 Physics Nobel Prize, titled: LASERs as Optical Traps and Bullets, was delivered by G. V. Pavankumar (IISER, Pune).
