| KHAG L | No. 118 - APRIL 2019 | 04 AConference on Formation and Evolution of Star Clusterswas organised at Maulana Azad National Urdu University Conference on Formation and Evolution of Star Clusters from India and ten from Nepal. They were given lectures in advanced topics by IUCAA faculty, and Phil Charles and Poshak Gandhi from the University of Southampton. The students displayed their interest and fascination towards Astrophysics by presenting posters. Eight students were selected from this workshop, and they visited the University of Southampton, and interacted with their faculty by doing a project. The workshop at IUCAAwas coordinated by Ranjeev Misra andAjit Kembhavi, both fromIUCAA. the programme is to motivate talented students to pursue a research career inAstronomy, Astrophysics, and related areas. To introduce students to these areas, four workshops were conducted at Tezpur (Assam), Raipur (Chattisgarh), Thodupuzha (Kerala), andKathmandu (Nepal). Selected students from these workshops were invited to participate in the Advanced Workshop on Astrophysics at IUCAA, during January 10 - 16, 2019.
